UTICA, NY - Hamilton College’s Emerson Gallery, in conjunction with the college’s art department, will screen David Wojnarowicz’s 1989 film, “A Fire In My Belly,” at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in the Kirner-Johnson Building’s Red Pit (Room 127). A panel discussion will follow. Panelists will discuss how the film fits within the artist’s larger body of work, religious symbols in history, and the film’s recent removal from an exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery and implications for museums.
