Reid Farrington’s “The Return,” an interactive celebration of #AdamRestored http://met.org/1HNQl8v
NEW YORK---Visitors to the Metropolitan Museum of Art this month can view "The Return," a 3D re-enactment of the decade-long reconstruction of Tullio Lombardo's "Adam" (ca. 1490–95). Visitors will not only explore the statue's fall from its podium ten years ago but also its poetic parallel to Biblical Adam's fall from grace. Museum guests will interact directly with the digital avatar created by Reid Farrington from 3D scans of the broken pieces of the sculpture. "The Return," continues through August 2, 2015, during Museum hours. [Watch Video]
