INDIA---‘Ganesha Darshan’ brings the icons conceptualised and crafted by artisans across the country. From Rajasthan come gaily painted marble kadamwood Ganeshas wearing stone encrusted garments or huge daubs of vermilion, providing a perfect foil to the delicate gilded imagery of tribal Ganeshas dancing or drumming in festive fervour. ‘Ganesha Darshan’ has been put together by the Central Cottage Industries Emporium, Temple Towers, 672 Anna Salai, Nandanam, and is on till September 16.
