Stephen Colbert Celebrates the First Night of Hanukkah
Stephen Colbert may be a devout Catholic, but he's reaching out to his Jewish viewers this holiday season with an eight-part Hanukkah video series. "Hanukkah is the time of year to gather with family and friends – and media personalities – to celebrate love, friendship and whatever it is you share with that guy from work who you don't really know that well who showed up to your Hanukkah party anyway," the Late Show host says in the first clip. "Please stay tuned and join us for the next seven magical nights, when each evening, you'll be visited by a new Hanukkah emissary, who will join you in celebrating the holiday," he says.
