The Frick to host an interfaith panel on "Jacob and His Twelve Sons"

"Zurbarán's Jacob and His Twelve Sons: Paintings from Auckland Castle" at The Frick Collection through April 22, 2018
On Sunday, April 15 at 2 p.m., the Frick Collection in New York City, will host a panel of faith leaders to discuss the story of Jacob as told in three religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. This program is presented in conjunction with the special exhibition, Zurbarán's Jacob and His Twelve Sons: Paintings from Auckland Castle (on view through April 22), a series of thirteen paintings based on "The Blessings of Jacob," a prophetic poem in Chapter 49 of Genesis. Moderated by Lucy Jane Lang, Special Counsel for Policy and Projects and Executive Director of the D.A.N.Y. Academy at the New York County District Attorney’s Office.
