"In some ways it reflects my personal evolution in the appreciation of art, from artisan objects to sculpture and, more recently, painting and vintage furniture," says André Fu of the collection he has been quietly assembling since he founded his studio in 2000, and which he displays in his Hong Kong duplex overlooking Deep Water and Repulse bays. He points out the Banquette Gingko, a bench by Claude Lalanne, which came from Ben Brown Fine Arts at the Hong Kong Art Fair. It also led to a commission and a further addition to his collection.
