ALPHA OMEGA ARTS
By TAHLIB
We are excited to announce the 32 artists who will inspire religious dialogue this fall in our inaugural A&O Prize exhibition, "First & Last: Religious Risks" including INSPIRE ME! Artist, Tom Torluemke. The exhibition is part of the Spirit & Place Festival and it's the ideal extension of the A&O Prize (Since 2008). The exhibition opens on November 1, with an artist reception the following Saturday, November 9 (Indiana Interchurch Center, 1100 West 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN) at 2 p.m. Your RSVP to join the dialogue about "Birth of Jesus" (above) by Tom Torluemke, and 30 other amazing works is my NEWS OF WEEK.

In other religious art news from across the USA, and around the world:
It's more than Art. It's Religion. We are believers (and skeptics too), united in the search for human meaning through art from the religious imagination. We believe in the artists and craftsman who dare to explore religious themes through their creativity. When you believe, you join other believers. Some of us join as voting members of the A&O Society; others support the A&O Prize - Youth Scholarships as donors; and most subscribe to this "free" weekly newsletter (or follow on: TumblrTwitter, Facebook or Soundcloud). All are welcome.
