INDIA---A mural painting workshop-cum-exhibition is under way at Kalarigram, Auroville. A Kerala-based artist A. Binil organised the workshop which features Kerala-style mural paintings. Kerala mural paintings are frescos depicting mythology and legends, which are drawn on the walls of temples and churches. The traditional paintings can traced back to the 9th to 12th centuries when this form of art enjoyed royal patronage. [
