OHIO---Artwork of all kinds will be on display starting April 20, when the Mandel Jewish Community Center unveils the fruits of a fellowship program designed to encourage expression of the Jewish sensibility. The art at “Slavery & Freedom,” the title of the third annual exhibition of the Cleveland Jewish Arts and Culture Lab, is based on the flight of the Jews from the Egyptians as chronicled in the Book of Exodus. To hear a few of the artists involved, participating in the program was liberating in itself.[link]
