RELIGIOUS ART | NEWS OF WEEK
ALPHA OMEGA ARTS
By TAHLIB, Curator
How do you make spiritual choices? Inside an Arab art museum in Isreal is a photograph of a face wearing a woman's black veil, but the figure is the male artist himself. It reminds me that God created guides to aide us in finding our perfect holiness. Whether committing to debilitating Cancer treatments; or rejecting poor eating habits we sometimes require the guidance of a "Shaman," or spiritual healer. That is why "Shaman Creature" by Mehdi-Georges Lahlouy is our NEWS OF WEEK.
