ALPHA OMEGA ARTS
By Disney-Britton
An African photographer created a series of a man wearing a black sphere over his head. The man is blinded by its darkness. As A&O concludes our 7th and final November gathering in New York City, the darkness of September 11th has returned with the massacre in Paris, France. The black sphere series is a reminder of similarly tragic Islamic extremist events in Mali, but they could also be a reminder of what happens with the blindness of retaliation. As we pray for Paris, we should also pray for light. That's why the "Inch Allah" by Aboubacar Traoré is our NEWS OF WEEK.
