NEW YORK---Anjolie Ela Menon’s work transcends time and place. Menon, who lives and works in India, draws inspiration from many artists and eras, from Modigliani to contemporary painter Maqbool Fida Husain, from modern-day India to the Byzantine Empire. Her current exhibition, “Anjolie Ela Menon: A Retrospective,” in which the artist reflects on her career in painting, is on view at NYC's Aicon Gallery until June 24, 2017.
