ALPHA OMEGA ARTS
By Gregory & Ernest Disney-Britton

It's Palm Sunday, and after 34 days of Lenton fasting plus COVID19 social distancing, we're fine. As we enter the next weeks of "a lot of death," we remember Easter. We remember Ohio's governor, who, in prophet-like zeal, works to keep people safe, including, our grandson, son, and Ernest's mother. And we remember Ohio folk artist Elijah Pierce (1892-1984), whose carvings are at their most potent during this Holy Week. Because Easter will come after COVID19, "Crucifixion Tableau" (n.d.) by Elijah Pierce is our art of the week.
