NEW YORK--The Cathedral of St. Patrick Young Adults are pleased to announce a unique Lenten event for Catholic young adults in the city of New York. "THE GOSPEL IN ART AT THE MET" will take place on Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from 12pm-2pm. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located at 1000 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. The Gospel in Art will incorporate a tour of religious works of art at the Metropolitan Museum. While touring these masterpieces, Catholic young adults will also be led in a Lenten reflection, given by Br Eric Wandrey, LC, who is the founder of this ministry. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about these paintings, but to also learn more about their faith.  [link]
