Larry Gagosian Will Publish James Frey’s Book About Jesus

NEW YORK -- James Frey has circumvented traditional publishers and teamed up with international art-gallery owner Larry Gagosian, who will publish just 11,000 copies of Frey's next book, The Final Testament of the Holy Bible, which Frey will also self-publish online. The novel will be released in the U.S. on Good Friday. Frey says he expects the religious right to "go crazy," although the religious right is probably unfamiliar with the Gagosian Gallery. [link].

Most of it was in storage, but plenty was on display. We did it by inviting our community of artists and collectors to an estate sale before opening it to the public. Museum Calls Off Kehinde Wiley Show, Citing Assault Allegations

Bates for The New York Times The Minneapolis Institute of Art announced Thursday that it had decided not to move forward with a planned Kehinde Wiley exhibition, citing recent allegations of sexual misconduct against the artist, which he has denied.
