NEW YORK - The Museum of Biblical Art and the American Bible Society are commemorating the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible by presenting a series of free events in July. Since its first publication in 1611, the King James Bible has become one of the most significant books in history. It was designed to be the common translation that united Bible readers everywhere. The KJB has become an enormous influence, not only on the English language, but also on churches and cultures throughout the world. All programs, unless otherwise noted, will take place at 1865 Broadway at 61st Street, in New York City.
