10,000 Episcopalians Debate Social Issues, And Celebrate Sacred Art

INDIANA---About 10,000 Episcopalians, from around the country converged on Indianapolis this weekend to participate in the church's weeklong 77th General Convention to debate issues, but also to display sacred art. The Ecclesiastical Art Exhibition at the Indianapolis Convention Center runs through July 10 and is a must see for anyone interested in religious art, especially Christian religious art. Local artist, Linda Witte Henke's "Great O Antiphons" (above), as well as a cross lon loan from Church of the Nativity are two of the many sacred works on display.
