INDIANA---The abstract paintings by Quincy Owens, currently at Lala Gallery in downtown Lafayette, can be challenging for many gallery goers because of their complexity and layered construction. Each of these paintings, on display until July 13, combines the techniques of unstructured application of paint with the more controlled addition of surface mono-printing.
