NEW YORK---First, the bad news: Fair Folks & a Goat offers coffee, but no pumpkin spice. Then, the much better news: $25 a month gets you unlimited coffees, teas, lattes, espressos and lemonades. This unusual membership-based coffee shop, which also sells art, clothes, home design pieces, and beer and wine, opened in an English basement on Houston Street in Greenwich Village in fall 2012. But its membership — which, according to the company, hovers around 1,000, depending on the month (an average of seven new members were added every day in September). [link]
