Ruth Schreiber forthcoming exhibition on family Shoa story

Just in time for Holocaust Remembrance Day in Isreal, artist Ruth Schreiber is showcasing her paper masks, polyester resin and cloth sculpture, printed paper 2.5x5x3m. In 2018, Yom Hazikaron laShoah ve-laG'vurah (יום הזיכרון לשואה ולגבורה; "Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day") will be observed beginning on sunset, April 11 and through nightfall, April 12. It is known colloquially in Israel and abroad as Yom HaShoah (יום השואה) and in English as Holocaust Remembrance Day, or Holocaust Day, and is the official day to commemorate the approximately six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust as a result of the actions carried out by Nazi Germany and its collaborators, and for the Jewish resistance in that period.
