Jim Carrey's latest art steers away from the controversial political portraits he has taken to lately. In light of the Lenten season, the actor painted a portrait of Jesus instead. Carrey turns to his faith in his recent artwork that depicts Jesus Christ nailed to the cross. The actor captioned his work "Fifty Shades of Decay," a nod to the BDSM film and book Fifty Shades of Grey. The painting tells the sacrifice Jesus made to save people from their sins. It is a life-defining moment that people of all generations, faith, and race look up to for assurance and reminder that Jesus is the savior of men and Carey did not forget to remind people about it in his art.
