“Glory to the Ukraine"
VOICES FROM RUSSIA - On 18 June, an exhibition entitled The Glory of the Ukraine: The Holy Image from the 11th to the 19th Centuries opened at the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) in New York City, featuring icons from the collection of the Kievo-Pechersk Lavra.
His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir Sabodan of Kiev and all the Ukraine blessed this event as a part of an international exhibition project, “The Ukraine: The World”. It will take place from June 2010 until May 2011 in three American museums: the Museum of Biblical Art in New York, Meridian International Center in Washington, and the Museum of Art in Omaha.
