INDIANA - Respected for its multicultural diversity, and provocative advertising including the attention getting, "Who Stole Jesus?" campaign of 32 billboards, and hundreds of yard signs, magnetic bumper stickers, and t-shirts, an Indianapolis pentecostal-leaning church will soon add another very colorful feather to its cap. LifeJourney Church, a gay & non-gay mixed congregation will host an inaugural silent auction & artist program on Sunday, May 6th at 6pm, with an exhibition preview beginning April 22. All proceeds benefit LifeJourney Church, and features popular local artists such as A&O INSPIRE ME! artist Tony Melendez (above). Tony should write a book, or I should do it for him to narrate his imagery. There has to be a way to broaden the reach of this insightful and talented artist. He lifts me up.
