RELIGIOUS ART | NEWS OF WEEK

ALPHA OMEGA ARTS
By TAHLIB
Don't ever follow artists or religious ideas simply because they echo what you already believe. Buddhist author Bhikkhu Nyanasobhano counsels that "Along that easy course there is no new discovery of truth, only more stale habit." Having the courage to explore new ideas is the premise behind a new theatre production in NYC, "Jesus in India" where the lost 17-years of Christ's life (ages 12-30) are explained as a period of travel studying Buddhism and Hinduism in India. That is why "Jesus in India" (above) is my NEWS OF WEEK.
