INDIANA---Some people share their faith through conversation or their actions. Brian Matthew Whirledge shares his through his art. Whirledge, who was born in Millersburg northwest of Ligonier, paints religious icons, which are most commonly associated with the Orthodox Church. He'll share that talent during a five-day workshop March 27-31 at St. John Chrysostom Antiochian Orthodox Church in Fort Wayne. “I say icon painting is a prayer,” Whirledge said. “It's not a prayer with words.
