INDIA---You can’t miss the murals adorning the walls of Gandhi Bhawan, the next time you pass the Delhi University’s North Campus. After the huge Mahatma Gandhi mural at the Delhi Police headquarters in ITO, the Capital was on Friday adorned with many more such murals on the occasion of Bapu ’s birth anniversary. Students from the Creative Arts Departments of DU, Jamia Millia Islamia, IILM School of Design and Gwalior-based Jiwaji University painted the murals on the Gandhi Bhawan wall as part of an arts festival in the morning. The theme was “Mohandas to Mahatma”, which featured different phases of Gandhiji’s life — from his childhood to his assassination. [link]
