Photographer Kelvin Burzon's solo exhibition, "Noli Me Tangere: Lamentations" opens on Friday, February 7 through Friday, April 10, 2020, in the Eric Dean Gallery of Wabash College in Indiana. Burzon is the 2017 winner of the Alpha & Omega Prize for Contemporary Religious Art. Noli Me Tangere, “touch me not” or “don’t thread on me,” (Latin) is a series of photographs that examine the intersection of homosexuality and religion. Rooted in the artist’s Filipino Roman Catholic upbringing, the genesis of the series can be charged to the signing of Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act in 2015.  [More]
