A heated debate has broken out over whether the Jewish, Ben Uri Gallery in London should have mounted an exhibition of pictures of the crucifixion. I first posted about this on June 23rd. The show includes artists Tracey Emin, Graham Sutherland, Stanley Spencer, Eric Gill, Maggi Hambling and Lee Miller.
