Vatican Splendors | Pittsburgh

Tickets go on sale late this summer for a new Vatican exhibition at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh. The exhibition, “Vatican Splendors: A Journey Through Faith and Art” opens Oct. 2 and will feature over 200 objects that bring to life the 2,000 years of history of the Roman Catholic Church including originals by Michelangelo. Nearly 69-percent of city residents are Catholic, and to spread the word, the history center will also display regional artifacts and documents from local churches.
