Da Vinci Tribute | Orlando

ORLANDO SENTINEL - Many people may not know, but the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine (8300 Vineland Avenue, 407-239-6600) has an art gallery where religious art by national and international artists is presented. One such artist is our own Edson Campos, who is well known for his highly rendered figurative paintings. Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. he will be onhand for the unveiling of his tribute to Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" (June 26-August 22). Campos' interiors are grand and atmospheric, and his very realistically rendered figures possess an ethereal grace.
