A college graduates controversial final project has Israel's religious community up in arms (as usual). The student, Yossi Even-Kama is graduating from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. According to Y-NetNews.com, his work, "State of Judea", which has been posted on Facebook and picked up by various religious websites, is a fictional depiction of the gradual death of Israeli democracy in the years 2020-2023 and the establishment of a religious, anti-democratic state in its place." I went to Facebook and found nothing but I'll keep looking.

It was a maximalist experience for two minimalists who love to collect. We sold off multiple collections, including snow globes, Mary sculptures, paperweights, Disney plates, nutcrackers, 21c penguins, walking canes, and 100 prints and paintings! Most of it was in storage, but plenty was on display. We did it by inviting our community of artists and collectors to an estate sale before opening it to the public.
