MARYLAND - “Treasures of Heaven: Saints, Relics, and Devotion in Medieval Europe
” at the Walters Art Museum here is the most beautifully mysterious exhibition I’ve seen this season. It’s also a model of institutional sharing. The Walters, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the British Museum, all with deep medieval holdings, have combined their forces brilliantly. [link]
