CHINA -Chitti Kasemkitvatana is truly one of the local conceptual artists. With a paradoxical title, "Tomorrow Was Yesterday", his current exhibition showcases six pieces which look back on his past experiences, both as a professional artist in Thailand since 1992 and as a Buddhist monk in the North between 2002-2009. "During my monkhood, most of my old works and their relevant objects disappeared. Only my remembrance of them remains. So, I retained their concept and implemented some new contexts for them, particularly for the installation of this show," said the conceptual artist. [link]

It was a maximalist experience for two minimalists who love to collect. We sold off multiple collections, including snow globes, Mary sculptures, paperweights, Disney plates, nutcrackers, 21c penguins, walking canes, and 100 prints and paintings! Most of it was in storage, but plenty was on display. We did it by inviting our community of artists and collectors to an estate sale before opening it to the public. Museum Calls Off Kehinde Wiley Show, Citing Assault Allegations

Bates for The New York Times The Minneapolis Institute of Art announced Thursday that it had decided not to move forward with a planned Kehinde Wiley exhibition, citing recent allegations of sexual misconduct against the artist, which he has denied.
