INDIA - The Kollam beach at the Mahatma Gandhi Park became the venue of an art exhibition with a distinctly environment flavour on Wednesday. Titled “two two four-save water save life”, its creator, A. Guruprasad said that he had used the post modern installation sculpture medium to convey the message. Two two four represents the 224 countries on earth and they are depicted as 224 plastic pots filled with sea water. Plastic waste is the biggest threat water sources face and the aim is to present the gravity of the drinking water problem triggered by plastic waste, said Mr. Guruprasad, a graduate from the Fine Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram.
