Help is Still Needed for Korean Art Installation

AOA NEWSSOUTH KOREA - Canadian artist, Christian, and father Mark Philip Venema has returned from his successful journey to Korea to install "Entrenched Thought", an international bridge-building project, and he is anxious to share the photos with those who missed the experience. The mammoth outdoor project cost thousands of dollars to conduct but is still in need of financial support. To-date, the project has raised just under $1,000 and there is only one day left on his Indie GoGo online campaign. As one of his "Good Soul" supporters, AOA wants others to know there is still time to help. Every Good Soul out there (or better souls) can help.

It was a maximalist experience for two minimalists who love to collect. We sold off multiple collections, including snow globes, Mary sculptures, paperweights, Disney plates, nutcrackers, 21c penguins, walking canes, and 100 prints and paintings! Most of it was in storage, but plenty was on display. We did it by inviting our community of artists and collectors to an estate sale before opening it to the public. Museum Calls Off Kehinde Wiley Show, Citing Assault Allegations

Bates for The New York Times The Minneapolis Institute of Art announced Thursday that it had decided not to move forward with a planned Kehinde Wiley exhibition, citing recent allegations of sexual misconduct against the artist, which he has denied.
