Rev. Bill Carter, First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, PA is a Believer For Artists. Under his leadership, the church displayed an eight-foot-high, 13-foot-long oil painting in its entry area titled, "Christ at Auschwitz" to fight anti-Jewish bigotry and to show that Christ was "not killed by his people" but "among his people."

The painting by Paul Weingarten was on loan to the church during the Lenten season from the national conference center of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in time for a special Holocaust Remembrance Service held at the church. “It’s one of the most striking pieces of religious art that I’ve ever seen,” said the Rev. Bill Carter. First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit is located at 300 School Street, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

The Alpha & Omega Project for Contemporary Religious Arts salutes Pastor Bill Carter as this Wednesday's Believer for Artists!
