UTAH - The 2011 Jewish Arts Festival is now just around the corner. As has become a staple to Salt Lake City and a great opportunity to see the talent of Utah’s Jewish community, the arts festival always promises to be a wonderful cultural event. The theme for 2011 is “Being a Jewish Entertainer”. This year’s festival begins on November 12 with a Havdalah celebration for the end of Shabbat followed by food tasting from the Mazza Restaurant and chance to see the nationally renowned comedian MODI. Then, on Sunday, November 13, from noon until six o’clock in the evening, the festival and exhibits will be open to the public and admission to the event is free. Anyone can come and enjoy the art, music, dancing and storytelling. [link]
