Interfaith Dialogue about Death at the Indiana Interchurch Center

INDIANA - The Center for Interfaith Cooperation hosts an interfaith discussion on The Body After Death as part of this week's Spirit & Place Festival in Indianapolis. The panelists reflect both eastern and western belief systems and will include the presentation of the A&O Prize for Young Artists, $750 in scholarships to any accredited Indiana college, for the winning individual entry in the Beyond Dead: Youth Respond exhibition. It's all this Saturday, November 12 at 2 p.m. at the Indiana Interchurch Center, 1100 West 42nd Street, Indianapolis. It was a maximalist experience for two minimalists who love to collect. We sold off multiple collections, including snow globes, Mary sculptures, paperweights, Disney plates, nutcrackers, 21c penguins, walking canes, and 100 prints and paintings! Most of it was in storage, but plenty was on display. We did it by inviting our community of artists and collectors to an estate sale before opening it to the public. Museum Calls Off Kehinde Wiley Show, Citing Assault Allegations

Bates for The New York Times The Minneapolis Institute of Art announced Thursday that it had decided not to move forward with a planned Kehinde Wiley exhibition, citing recent allegations of sexual misconduct against the artist, which he has denied.
