Collector: Andrés Blaisten's Collection at the Meadow's Museum

TEXAS - Andrés Blaisten, whose collection is comprised of over 8,000 works of art—including paintings, sculpture, drawings, and print—first began collecting while studying painting at the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City in the late 1960s. This summer, visitors to the Meadows Museum will have the opportunity to experience one of the greatest collections of modern Mexican art in the world. "Mexican Modern Painting from the Andrés Blaisten Collection" will feature a selection of eighty paintings from this singular group of works and will be on display from April 29th through August 12th.  [link]
