OHIO -- Transported. It's the way I felt as I wandered through Howard Finster's Plant Farm Museum in rural Georgia in the mid-1970s. And it's the experience I had walking through "Stranger in Paradise: The Works of Reverend Howard Finster" Sunday at the Akron Art Museum. The self-taught artist and self-appointed minister, born in 1916 in Valley Head, Ala., was ...was discovered by scholars and collectors, then by New York galleries, and by 1983 was on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson. Museum Calls Off Kehinde Wiley Show, Citing Assault Allegations

Bates for The New York Times The Minneapolis Institute of Art announced Thursday that it had decided not to move forward with a planned Kehinde Wiley exhibition, citing recent allegations of sexual misconduct against the artist, which he has denied.
