RUSSIA -- Artyom Loskutov, a Moscow-based artist, has been accused of tagging three advertising stands with pro-Pussy Riot iconography. According to Interfax, Loskutov was ordered to pay 1,000 rubles ($30) Friday for two pictures depicting masked Pussy Riot band members posing as the Virgin Mary, inside of which is a circle with a pig-tailed, female Jesus. In the corner of the posters read “SVBD PSRT,” which apparently means “free Pussy Riot” (“svoboda Pussy Riot”). [link]
