Makoto Fujimura's "Golden Sea" Opens Tonight in NYC

NEW YORK---Opening tonight at the Dillon Gallery in Chelsea is Makoto Fujimura's "Golden Sea," an exhibition of new works that coincides with publication of his first retrospective monograph, as well as a biographical documentary. The video was funded by 226 supporters on Kickstarter. He is a leading contemporary Nihonga artist, an innovator of culture, and a leading Christian artist. Fujimura’s paintings are in collections across the globe. The Dillon Gallery exhibits established, mid career, and young emerging artists whose works convey their  approach to visual content.
