UTAH---Utah artist J. Kirk Richards is a favorite among admirers of contemporary spiritual artwork. His love of the textural, poetic, and mysterious gives him a unique perspective on traditional Judeo-Christian themes. Richards is best known for his contributions to the BYU Museum of Art and to Helen Whitney’s PBS Frontline Documentary The Mormons: An American Experience. He will be the featured artist in SUU’s Department of Art & Design’s weekly series, Art Insights on December 5, 2013. The presentation will take place in Section JK of SUU’s Centrum Arena on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 7pm. Admission is free and the general public is encouraged to attend.
