Vesak Day is observed annually during the full moon in May or June, celebrating the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Gautama Buddha. Buddhist monks carry jars of holy water for supplies on Vesak Day, commonly known as "Buddha's birthday" during a holy water ceremony on May 13 in Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia.
