NEW YORK---A group of Jewish artists recently opened a new Jewish art gallery in Crown Heights to promote creativity and emerging artists within the orthodox/Hasidic community and share their unique vision of exploring & celebrating Judaism through the arts. The group ‘Creative Soul‘ organized themselves to pursue their goal after acknowledging clear there was a tremendous thirst and a need for creative outlets in the Hasidic community in Brooklyn. It all started when Rabbi Yitzchok Moully decided to open a pop up gallery for a week on the streets of Crown Heights Brooklyn during Sukkot of 2011. [link]
