MAINE---Robert Indiana, the artist famous for his 'LOVE' paintings, escapes to his island home in Maine, where his favorite space is a ceremonial room for Odd Fellows—now home to 24 stuffed giraffes. The exhibit "Robert Indiana: Beyond LOVE," organized by the Whitney Museum of American Art, is now at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio through May 25. He spoke with reporter Marc Myers. [link]
