OHIO--Students and faculty at Mount St. Joseph University had a rare opportunity to witness Tibetan monks creating a sand mandala. Tibetan monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery, a Buddhist monastery in South India dating back to 1416, were on the Mount’s campus the week of Sept. 22 to create an art piece using colored sand at the university’s Studio San Giuseppe Art Gallery.
