MICHIGAN---ArtPrize 2014's jurors have spoken, and ArtPrize's viewers and voters are starting to speak. They're both talking about six of the same works of art in the sixth annual exhibition and $560,000 competition. On Monday, ArtPrize's category jurors unveiled their 20 finalists, five each in the four categories of Best Two-Dimensional Work, Best Three-Dimensional Work, Best Time-Based entry and Best Installation. A single juror, as well as the viewers casting votes for their favorites, will get to pick $20,000 winners in each of the four genres. A panel of three jurors and the public also will award a $200,000 Juried Grand Prize and a $200,000 People's Grand Prize. [link]
