Church Launches Inside Art Gallery in Indianapolis

INDIANA—The Art Bank, known for its connection to the Downtown art community (Indianapolis)—has added a new element, with the launch of church services of the fledgling Circle City Canvas Church. The church was founded by Pastor Kerry Jackson and his wife, Twyla, shortly after their relocation to Indianapolis from Atlanta, Ga, in the gall of 2013. Jackson, himself a professional artist, said the church’s mission is summed up in the idea of a canvas. “A canvas is a strong, closely woven piece of fabric most often used in telling a story,” he said. “Circle City Canvas Church desired to be a strong, closely women community of Christ followers telling His Story to the city of Indianapolis and to the world."
