Yayoi Kusama has been painting Infinity Nets since her arrival in New York in the late 1950s. Kusama’s obsession with patterns and repetitious dots led her to paint this visually complex motif, now widely recognized as one of her most important series. For over 50 years, Kusama has continued to examine her Infinity Nets series, resulting in iconic paintings and installations.
